Brant's Answers

Hey Mom,
I made it and have met my companion Elder Ayala. He is really cool and has been here in 9 months. He doesn´t speak any English which is really hard. This is a huge culture shock for me. There are so many dogs everywhere and there are people all over the street. I know that it is going to be hard but the Lord is watching over me.

1. We actually didn´t go to the mission home, we went to the stake center. It was about an hour and a half ride and a tight one.
2. Presidente and Hermana Mann are extremely nice and were extremely welcoming. I think they said that they are going to send you a picture. We are in Arboleda, I think that is how you spell it. It is going to take some getting used to.
3. Elder Alaya is his name.
4. The area was about an hour from the mission home. We took a taxi and the whole time we were teaching the taxi driver about the church, he had so many questions. It was a really cool experience and we already set an appointment with him. We ar proselyting tonight at 6. I can´t believe it is here, it is crazy.
5. I am not even sure what we are living in. I think it is a house but I am not positive.
6. I don´t know my address but to send things to me you have to send it to the mission home I am pretty sure.
7. I have a filtered water bottle that they gave me.
8. Just to the clean the house regularly but I walked in and the house is a mess. There is stuff everywhere.
9. The area has a lot of poverty and street homes. It is a cool place, I haven´t really seen much of it yet though.
I love you Mom, hope you are doing well! -Elder McCain

Here are pictures of my house, my trainer, and Elder Cloward at the CCM (the bowdens cousin).
