Today was cambios but I found out that Elder May and I are going to stay here in Polanco together for another ciclio. I am grateful for the opportunity to stay here and hope that we can continue to find people to teach. This week we have been teaching a lot of investigators but the hard part is still getting them to the capilla. We are really trying to teach them the importance of the capilla and the importance of the sacrament. It can be super hard but we are also working with a lot of menos activos. Yesterday in the capilla we had 15 less actives in the capilla. It was so awesome to see especially when one of them told us that she missed coming to the capilla and felt so much more peace there. It really made me feel good to see how much the less actives are recognizing the importance of going to church and the Gospel. I can´t express enough how much this gospel brings into people´s lives. I know without a doubt that this is the true church on the Earth and that Heavenly Father has a plan for everyone of his children to return to his presence and to live with our families forever. What greater blessing is there than that!!!
This week not much happened, we found a family that was interested in our message and I am super excited to teach them. There is something about seeing the families in the capilla together. I love seeing the families together and love when we find a family that is all interested in our message. This week the rain started, oh how much I love working in the rain haha. Contacting seems to be worse in the rain for some reason. Nothing much happened this week sorry there is not a lot to write. I have been reading the Old Testament because 85% of Mexico is Catholic and they know the Bible really well. I have been studying the Bible a lot especially in Spanish so I can teach from the Bible too. I am studying the Book of Mormon in Spanish as well. It is really helping my Spanish. Every week I feel more and more comfortable with the Spanish.
Today for Pday we just hung around the house and we went to cambios. I saw my good friend Baird from the CCM. Hope all is well!
