Another Cycle in Polanco

Hola
This week was a little tough like the last one, Elder May and I this week stopped and started to think why these last 2 weeks have been so rough. We know that it is for some reason and are hoping to find out why in this next cycle. Yes this week I found out that I am staying here in Polanco with Elder May. I am going to finish Elder May´s mission. He goes home in 3 weeks and Elder May and I have set goals as what we want to accomplish before he leaves. Our goal is 2 baptisms before he leaves. We are going to do all that we can to achieve this goal! This week we were supposed to baptize but the same thing happened, the investigador did not show up to the entrevista. Honestly when it happened a 2nd time Elder May and I were pretty down and frustrated about it. We have no idea what happened to this investigador or where he is. We can´t get in contact with him or anything. This has happened a lot to Elder May and I here in Polanco, we find someone that is really interested in our message and then after we put a fecha with them it is like they disappear and we don´t know what to do or how to find them. Yes sometimes it is very frustrating but we continue to look for more people to teach. This week we put a fecha with an Hno that is super animado and I am so excited for his baptism. I really hope that he gains a testimony of this Gospel because I would love to see him and his family join the Church. This week we also found a family that is super excited to learn more about the Church. Something that I have seen that has gotten better here in Polanco is we are having éxito en la capilla. We had 8 investigators in the capilla yesterday and have some that are progressing really well we just struggle to find them during the week with their work schedule. This work can be extremely hard sometimes but what I have seen from every hard moment comes a good one. Never give up hold on to the iron of rod! There is good to come just hold on! Don´t be afraid to ask or look for guidance either. There is always help and our Heavenly Father that loves each one of us more than we think!

This week there was some pretty funny things that happened with Elder May and I. Last night we were leaving a cita and we were walking down the stairs and there was a glass door that you have to open to leave but Elder May didn´t see the glass because it was so dark! Oh my he hit the glass so hard, hard enough to put a face mark on the glass! HAHAH I was dying laughing and so were our investigators along with May. I asked him if his glasses work and he said obviously not. Haha it was so funny and the funniest part was our investigator was on the ground heaving for air he was laughing so hard. Oh there are some good times in the mission for sure!! Definitely one I will remember for a while haha!

Yesterday in sacrament meeting Elder May and I gave talks. Both of us kind of went over time because the Obispo has to tap us both to tell us it was time haha. Por fin the language feels like I can communicate enough here and have a conversation more than just how are you haha. Honestly there are days when it can get frustrating with the Spanish but it finally starting to feel better and I can talk without difficulty. Today for Pday Elder May and I just hung around the house, we cleaned, bought food, and washed nuestra ropa. It is crazy to think that my comp is going home in 3 weeks. I remember when he got here with me and he still had 4 months until he went home. Time definitely does fly here in the mission! Hope you guys are doing well and have a great week!
